Terms and Conditions
These Terms explain the rules for using our platform, our courses and resources, and our materials. Please read them. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Who We Are
The Blueprints Foundation is a nonprofit that provides theological and formation resources. In these Terms, "we," "us," and "the Foundation" mean The Blueprints Foundation. "You" means you, whether you use the platform as an individual or on behalf of a church, school, or organization.
2. Who Can Use the Platform
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- If you use the platform for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to agree to these Terms for that organization.
- You agree to give accurate information when you sign up and to keep it up to date.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. What You Can Do
We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the platform and our resources for your own learning, prayer, worship, and personal growth. You may also use resources your organization has licensed to you, within the terms of that license.
5. What You Cannot Do
Please do not:
- copy, sell, share, or republish our materials without written permission;
- use our name or logo without written permission;
- misrepresent who you are or what organization you represent;
- harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our staff;
- scrape, copy, or collect data from the platform by automated means;
- try to break into, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform;
- upload malware or anything that could harm the platform or other users;
- use our materials in a way that distorts their meaning or misrepresents our teaching;
- break any law while using the platform.
6. Our Materials
The platform, our curriculum, courses, frameworks, writing, videos, designs, and our name and logos belong to the Foundation. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. All rights not expressly given to you are reserved.
7. Content You Submit
You keep ownership of anything you post or upload. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it to operate and improve the platform and our mission. You confirm that you have the right to share what you post and that it does not break any law or infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
8. Paid Services
Some courses, licenses, and resources cost money. Prices, billing terms, and any refund rules are shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. If you do not pay when due, we may suspend access to paid services.
9. Privacy
We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without verified parental consent.
10. Not Professional Advice
Our content is for spiritual formation, education, and ministry development. It is not pastoral counseling, psychological or medical care, legal advice, or financial advice. Please seek qualified professional help for those needs.
11. No Warranties
The platform and our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, or secure.
12. Limit of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Foundation is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, including for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold the Foundation harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of the law, or content you post that infringes someone else's rights.
14. Ending Access
You may stop using the platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, fail to pay when due, or put the platform or others at risk. When access ends, you must stop using our materials and delete any copies you have. Sections 6, 12, 13, and 15 continue to apply after access ends.
15. Disputes
- Talk to us first. Send us a written notice describing the dispute. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
- Mediation and arbitration. If it is not resolved, the dispute goes to non-binding mediation and then to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Chicago, Illinois.
- Individual claims only. Disputes are resolved one person at a time. No class actions.
- Court exceptions. We may go to court to stop misuse of our intellectual property or confidential information. Court cases are heard in Cook County, Illinois.
- Time limit. Claims must be filed within one year of when you knew or should have known about them, except for our intellectual property claims.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days' notice through the platform or by email. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept a material change, you may close your account before it takes effect.
17. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written agreement we sign with you, form the full agreement between you and the Foundation. Illinois law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a successor organization.
